Dr. Luis Castro Sáder, completed his university studies in Medicine and Surgery at the Central University of Venezuela, graduating in Caracas in 2002. Later he worked for 3 years as a general practitioner in Venezuela.
For professional reasons, and in order to carry out medical specialization, he moved to Spain in 2005, specializing in Urology (Mir), at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital (Barcelona), between 2006-2011.
He worked as a specialist in Urology at the Pius Hospital de Valls (Tarragona) between 2011 and 2013, and since then he has been an assistant doctor of the Urology Service of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital He develops his activity mainly in functional urological pathology (urinary incontinence, prostatic hyperplastic, urinary lithiasis, andrology and male fertility), as well as being part of the Bladder Oncology and Renal Transplantation units.
He participates in the research team in renal pathophysiology of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). He has attended as a speaker in numerous courses and congresses of national and international scope. He is part of the European and Spanish Association of Urology, and is a member of the Catalan Association of Urology.
Since 2015 he has been part of the Uros Associats team at Centro Médico Teknon (Barcelona).
He speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
