Throughout the year, we welcome medical students, Urology residents and Urologists who rotate in our Department, sharing work methodologies and learning from the best specialists.

We work as Clinical University Tutors in the follow-up of students in internships of the Degree in Medicine of the UIC.
2023
DECEMBER
William Barragán, urology resident in the 5th year, at the Morales Meseguer Hospital in Murcia. He explains his experience:
“During the stay I felt very comfortable and welcomed by all the services (assistants, infirmary and secretary) of both General Mitre and Teknon, which is very much appreciated when you leave your hospital. In general, all the adjuncts I was with were very instructive and answered any questions I had. I had the opportunity to see a wide range of endoscopic, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, which was a bit the goal of my rotation; Therefore, I was very happy during my stay with you. The reason for my visit was mainly to see retroperitoneal surgery since it is not done in my hospital. I also wanted to know a little about the service, see how they work and learn a little about the different adjuncts that make it up since I knew many of them from congresses or courses I have attended”

“First of all, I want to thank you for the amazing opportunity to learn alongside Uros Associats. During my stay, I felt very welcome. The team is amazing, super competent and always willing to share their knowledge in a friendly and friendly environment. My visit to Uros Associats was motivated by my interest in learning advanced laparoscopy and robotic techniques of the kidney and pelvis. I have had the opportunity to see and learn about extraperitoneal and transperitoneal laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic radical cystectomy with intracorporeal reconstruction, retroperineoscopy, reconstructive laparoscopic ureteral surgery, and laparoscopic sacrocolposuspension. Each of these learnings has been enriching and very valuable for my professional growth.”
NOVEMBER
Asier Maldonado, 4th year urology resident at the University Hospital of Cruces, Barakaldo, Vizcaya. He explains his experience:
“During my time at Uros Associats, I have felt fully integrated into the team. From day one they have made me feel at home. I have been able to meet a very professional team, with a great capacity for work. I have been able to learn different surgical techniques, such as retroperitoneoscopic procedures. My visit was mainly motivated by the possibility of training in a group of urologists experienced in the field of retroperitoneoscopy, an approach that I think is essential to know in order to be able to carry out as a way in selected cases. I was also interested in Uros Associats because of the high volume of patients they have, offering me the possibility of reinforcing fundamental fields such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery. It has been a very fruitful month, and I am very satisfied with the rotation made. I’ve been able to get to know a different working method than I’m used to, and I’ve been able to work with different teams, which has made me broaden my vision of urology.”
JUNE
Dr Luis Fernandez Sponton, from Argentina, has been with our team during the month of June. He has had the opportunity to see surgeries with Da Vinci Robot and emphasizing endourology.
MARCH
This March we have been accompanied by Dr. Miroslav Albert, Bachelor of Medicine and specialization in Urology, from Slovakia and student Nicolas Alarcón from the Universidad del Rosario, Colombia.
They have been able to learn about robotic and outpatient surgeries, and share work methodologies and impressions with different doctors on the team.
FEBRUARY
The student Victoria Cabrera finished her medical studies at the INSTITUTO HOSPITAL ITALIANO DE BUENOS AIRES in 2022 and has spent a month with our team.
