Berta Sans Callejo

Functional Urology Nurse

 

Berta Sans Callejo graduated in Physiotherapy in 2010 and later, in 2014, in Nursing, both from the University School of Nursing, Physiotherapy and Nutrition Blanquerna (Universitat Ramon Llul). Subsequently, in 2015, she completed a Postgraduate Degree in Primary Care Nursing (CADI I) at the University of Barcelona and in 2019, the Master’s Degree in Urological Nursing at the Francisco de Vitoria University.

He has presented several papers and posters both national and international, such as the paper “Multi-disciplinary management of chronic pelvic pain” at the 20th International EAUN Meeting, the poster “Analysys of structured triage in an emergency department in a third level uropediatric monographic center” at the 29th European Society for Paediatric Urology congress in Helsinky, presented at the CME: MULTIDISCIPLINARY MANAGEMENT OF INHERITED KIDNEY DISEASES at the Fundació Puigvert and the presentation of the paper “The Nursing Care in Peadiatric Urology” at the 28th congress of the European Society for Paediatric Urology. And he has completed the course of Physiotherapy in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions in the RAP of Barcelona.

She worked as a physiotherapist and social educator at the Respir residence for people with intellectual disabilities in the Mundet Campus in 2011. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2014, as a physiotherapist at home and from 2017 to 2018 in Més Salut as a physiotherapist for pelvic floor rehabilitation.

As for her experience in nursing, Berta Sans worked at SJD Barcelona Children’s Hospital in the Neonatology unit and U.C.I. Neonatal and later at the Puigvert Foundation in Nephrology, Radiology and Urodynamics, where she currently works as an Outpatient Nurse of the Radiology service.

She joined Uros Associats as a nurse specialized in Urodynamics in December 2020.

She speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
