Dr. Joaquim Sarquella Geli has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Diploma of Specialist in Andrology from the IUNA Fundació Puigvert Postgraduate School – Autonomous University of Barcelona and Clinical Andrologist from the European Academy of Andrology.
He has teaching activity as a professor of the Master in Clinical Andrology of the Graduate School of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
He has published more than 35 articles in national and international journals of Andrology and Urology. He has also collaborated in chapters of 6 books that cover the fields of Urology, Andrology and Human Sexuality and has presented many communications, posters, videos and papers at National and International Congresses.

He is a member of the Spanish Association of Andrology (ASESA), the Spanish Association of Urology (AEU), the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), the International Society of Andrology (ISA), the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) and the European Academy of Andrology (EAA). He was a member of the scientific committee of the XI National Congress of Andrology, 2003. Member of the Board of Directors of the Circle of Students and Collaborators (CALCO) of the Puigvert Foundation and scientific collaborator in microsurgery of the Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Center (CCMIJU) of Cáceres.
Currently, he is an assistant physician of the Andrology Service of the Fundació Puigvert, where he is especially dedicated to the areas of male sexual dysfunction, morphological pathology of the penis and Peyronie’s disease, male infertility and genital microsurgery. Coordinator and accredited tutor of the Teaching Program of the Andrology Service. Member of the Teaching Committee of the Fundació Puigvert and Andrologist collaborator at Uros Associats.
He speaks Spanish, English, French and Catalan.
