Dr. Laia Sos graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2001, specialising in Urology via MIR at the Fundació Puigvert.
She has worked as a Urology specialist at Fundació Puigvert (2009-2010) and as a Urology assistant doctor at Fundació Althaia (2010-2017) and since 2017 at the Consorci Sanitari de l’Alt Penedès i Garraf developing her activity in the field of general urology.
She completed her training as a Clinical Andrologist doing the Master in Clinical Andrology at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona from 2016 to 2018 training in minimally invasive surgical techniques such as microsurgical varicocelectomy, microsurgical TESE as well as surgery for the correction of Peyronie’s disease and prosthetic surgery for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, being a reference of Andrology in the area of l’Alt Penedès and Garraf since 2018.
She has attended various national and international courses and congresses as a speaker and moderator.
From 2010 to 2015 and again since 2023 she has worked privately as a urologist at Uros Associats (Private Urology Service).
She is a member of the European and Spanish Association of Urology, as well as the Spanish Association of Andrology, Sexual and Reproductive Medicine and the European Academy of Andrology.
She has published several articles in national and international journals and has taught as Clinical Professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya from 2012 to 2016.
She speaks Spanish, Catalan, English and German.
