Dr. Sandra Tarragón Gabarró

Specialist in General Urology and Checkups.

Dr. Sandra Tarragón Gabarró, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Sciences of Health Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, promotion of 1997).

He specialized via M.I.R. in Urology at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona. He holds the FEBU accreditation after passing the EBU exam (European Board Examinations in Urology) in Brussels in 2014.

He has participated as a speaker in different national congresses, receiving the Award for the best clinical case poster of the Societat Catalana d’Urologia in 2010.

He has published several articles in national and international journals, receiving the Award for the best article published in the journal Annals 2010-2011. She has authored the chapter on radical cystectomy and urological surgery in the book Perioperative Medicine in the Elderly Patient.

She worked as an Assistant Doctor in the Urology Service of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and in the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, forming part of the Pelvic Floor Committee of this center where she performed the protocol of recurrent cystitis.

Since 2013 she has been collaborating with the Private Urology Service Uros Associats at Clínica Sagrada Familia, where she has been an Assistant Staff since 2015, focusing her activity on minimally invasive surgery in the field of endourology through the treatment of Lithiasis and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia with Laser (Thulium -FVP-, Holmium -HoLEP-) and other minimally invasive techniques such as the Rezum.

He is a member of the Uro-Oncology Committee of the Sagrada Familia Clinic.

She speaks spanish, english and catalan.
